Cameron Johnson Believed To Have Suffered Torn Meniscus
2 years agoPhoenix Suns forward Cameron Johnson (knee) is believed to have torn the meniscus in his right knee. He will undergo further testing and imaging, although the team is expecting the worst. The 26-year-old moved into the starting lineup this season in place of Jae Crowder. He's played well in his new role, averaging 13.0 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.1 steals while shooting an impressive 43.1% from deep. It's unknown how long Johnson will be out, but there's a good chance fantasy managers won't see him again in 2022-23. If that's the case, Torrey Craig, who started in Saturday night's win over the Trail Blazers, should continue to receive more minutes.
