Devin Vassell Returns With A Career-High 29 Points
2 years agoSan Antonio Spurs guard/forward Devin Vassell was back on the court Friday against the Clippers and ended up having his best game of the season with a career-high 29 points. The 22-year-old was eased into action from a bench role after he missed four games with a sore left knee, so this could've easily been an even bigger night for the rising star. He played only 25 minutes and added two rebounds and two assists to his line with two turnovers. Vassell continued his red-hot three-point shooting with a 4-for-5 effort and he shot 12-for-16 overall from the field. The Florida State product is off to a really nice start to the season and it looks like only injuries can hold him back. Hopefully, we won't see him sitting out again anytime soon. Vassell will be going for his fourth consecutive 20-point night Saturday against Denver, a team that is ranked 22nd in defensive efficiency.
