Ranger Suarez Will Be Available In Game 6
2 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies right-hander Zack Wheeler will make the start against the Houston Astros in Game 6 of the World Series on Saturday, but left-hander Ranger Suarez will also be available in a must-win game, according to manager Rob Thomson. If Suarez comes into Saturday's game, right-hander Aaron Nola would start a potential Game 7 on Sunday in Houston, but "probably not on a full pitch count," Thomson said. Nola just started in Game 4 on Wednesday. If Suarez is not used in Saturday's game, he's in line to start Game 7 on Sunday. The 27-year-old Venezuelan southpaw threw five shutout innings and gave up three hits while walking one and fanning four to pick up the win over Houston in Game 3 on Tuesday.
