Tyron Smith Still A Ways From A Possible Return
2 years agoDallas Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones said that left tackle Tyron Smith (knee, hamstring) is around three to four weeks away from starting his 21-day window to practice with the team. However, Jones is also cautious that could change. The 31-year-old has been on Injured Reserve since Aug. 31 after having surgery on his left knee. If the Cowboys don't activate Smith within the 21-day window once he's designated to return, he'll have to remain on IR for the remainder of the 2022 season, which is a real possibility given his injury. If Smith actually does make a return this year, it might not be until/if the Cowboys make the playoffs.
