Alec Pierce Continues To Be Volatile Fantasy Option
2 years agoIndianapolis Colts rookie wide receiver Alec Pierce has operated consistently as the No. 3 wideout for the Colts, playing 54% of the snaps compared to Parris Campbell's 86%. Since Week 3, he's seen at least 37 yards in every game and at least four targets. However, he's only had two top-20 fantasy finishes since then. While Pierce remains an interesting name to monitor, he should not be in starting lineups in Week 9 or in the foreseeable future in standard-sized leagues. Keep an eye on his development with new Colts starting quarterback Sam Ehlinger, as his stronger arm may prove beneficial to Pierce's skillset.
