Miles Sanders A Top-Tier Option In Week 9
2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders will face the Houston Texans this Thursday night. The 25-year-old was highly efficient with his lowest carry count of the season last week but should be much busier against Houston. The Texans allow the most fantasy points per game to the running back position this year, allowing an average of 159.1 yards per game. Sanders is still seeing the bulk of the carries compared to backups Kenneth Gainwell and Boston Scott, and his chances at scoring are high this week, considering Houston has allowed 10 rushing touchdowns through seven games. There is always the chance that quarterback Jalen Hurts takes off and gets into the end zone when inside the 20-yard line, but the fourth-year back should gain a ton of yards and will likely finish the week as an RB1 if he hits paydirt. Consider Sanders a high-end RB2 in Week 9.
