Keenan Allen Won't Return Until He's 100 Percent
2 years agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen (hamstring) said his hamstring injury got worse during last week's bye while training. Allen said the next time he goes into a game it won't be on a snap count and that it will be all or nothing with his hamstring absolutely ready to go. He said he felt great going into Week 7 but wasn't 100 percent. The 30-year-old returned two weeks ago for the first time since the season opener but played only 32 percent of the offensive snaps and caught two passes for 11 yards. He missed practice on Wednesday and doesn't appear to be on the right track to play on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons. Joshua Palmer, who has cleared the concussion protocol, and DeAndre Carter figure to be the top two pass-catchers with Mike Williams (ankle) still on Injured Reserve.
