Chuba Hubbard Thinks He Can Play This Week
2 years agoCarolina Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard (ankle) said he feels good about his chances of getting back on the field in Week 9 against the Cincinnati Bengals. Hubbard suffered a minor ankle injury in Week 7 and was held out in the Week 8 overtime loss to the Atlanta Falcons. With Hubbard out, D'Onta Foreman dominated backfield touches and had 118 rushing yards and three touchdowns on a season-high 26 carries. Foreman now has exactly 118 rushing yards in both games without Christian McCaffrey, but his fantasy ceiling will be lowered significantly if he returns to sharing the backfield with Hubbard in Week 9. Before his injury in Week 7, Hubbard had nine carries for 63 yards and one score.
