Game 3 Of World Series Postponed Monday
2 years agoMajor League Baseball commissioner Rob Manfred announced that Game 3 of the World Series between the Houston Astros and Philadelphia Phillies on Monday in Philadelphia has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game will be moved back to Tuesday. Right-hander Lance McCullers Jr. was scheduled to start for the Astros on Monday, while right-hander Noah Syndergaard was the Phillies' scheduled starter. McCullers will be pushed back to Tuesday, but it remains to be seen if Philadelphia will stick with Thor as their starter a day later. The postponement also means we may not see right-hander Cristian Javier start for the Astros on Wednesday in Game 4.
