2 years agoIt was a victory nonetheless for debuting heavyweight Waldo Cortes-Acosta as he earned a unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) over Jared Vanderaa in their main-card showing  on Saturday. In 15 minutes of action, Cortes-Acosta tallied 73 significant strikes, out-striking Vanderaa by 17. Cortes-Acosta put on a show for the fans and looks to be a force eventually in the heavyweight division.--Matt Bricker
