Romeo Doubs Leads Packers In Receiving Yards In Week 8
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs caught four of his seven targets, gained 62 yards, and scored a touchdown during the team's 27-17 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 8. The rookie bounced back after failing to catch any of his four targets last week against Washington. Doubs seemed to be in the dog house after quarterback Aaron Rodgers had some negative things to say about his receiving corps this past week, but he made some solid grabs and had an impressive 19-yard touchdown in the middle of the second quarter. Christian Watson (concussion) left in the early part of this game, leading to Rodgers having to utilize his best remaining weapon. Allen Lazard (shoulder) could return next week, but even if he does, Doubs will be a solid FLEX option against a poor Detroit Lions pass defense.
