Broncos Defense Has Another Solid Showing Against Jaguars
2 years agoThe Denver Broncos defense didn't go crazy for fantasy managers in their Week 8 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in London on Sunday, but they put up a solid effort nonetheless in the 21-17 victory. The Denver D, which has been one of the stingiest units in football this year, held Jacksonville's offense to 17 points. They also picked off second-year quarterback Trevor Lawrence twice, including once at the goal line, and got to him for two sacks. They were gashed on the ground by running back Travis Etienne Jr. (156 yards and a score), but they limited the damage overall and held the Jaguars offense to 305 total yards (4.7 yards per play). The Broncos defense is on bye in Week 9 before they face a tough challenge in the run-first Tennessee Titans and All-Pro running back Derrick Henry in Week 10.
