2 years agoThe Los Angeles Rams continue to be interested in bringing back free-agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. (knee), but there's also talk in league circles that Houston Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks could be headed back to LA. Cooks' $18 million fully guaranteed salary has become an impediment, and the Texans have been trying to trade him before Tuesday's deadline. He could be willing to soften his guarantee for 2023 in order to escape the Texans and return to the Rams, according to a league source. Houston could also eat some of the 2023 guaranteed salary in order to get a desired draft pick. Cooks had more than 1,200 receiving yards in his first year in LA in 2018 but fewer than 600 in his second year. A move to LA would be better for his fantasy prospects, but he'd also be joining a crowded receiving room of Cooper Kupp, Van Jefferson, Allen Robinson II and Ben Skowronek.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
