2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert will face the Pittsburgh Steelers in Philadelphia Sunday. The 27-year-old has been one of the most consistent fantasy options at the tight end position this season, failing to finish inside the top 12 on only two occasions. He did have his worst game of the season the last time he took the field against Dallas, and he now faces a Pittsburgh defense that allows the seventh-fewest fantasy points per game to tight ends. However, the fifth-year veteran is a must-start fantasy option every week due to the target share he demands. He currently ranks 11th in targets per game at the position and has recorded one red zone target in all but one game this year. Goedert is a necessary part of the Eagles' passing attack and has as good a chance as any tight end to score every week. Fire him up as a safe TE1 option in Week 8 despite the tough matchup.--Ryan Larrison - RotoBaller
