2 years agoThe Los Angeles Rams designated wide receiver Van Jefferson (knee), defensive back Troy Hill (groin) and linebacker Travin Howard (groin) to return from Injured Reserve on Monday. All three can now return to practice this week, and the Rams will have 21 days to officially activate them from IR. Jefferson could be on track to make his season debut in Week 8 against the division-rival San Francisco 49ers after having knee surgery in training camp. Aside from one game, Allen Robinson II hasn't done much in his first year in LA, so Jefferson could step in right away and become the team's No. 2 wideout behind All-Pro Cooper Kupp. In 2021, Jefferson had 50 catches (89 targets) for 802 yards in his second NFL season.
