Sammy Watkins Tallies 36 Yards In Return
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Sammy Watkins caught two of his four targets, gaining 36 yards, during the team's 23-21 loss to the Washington Commanders. The 29-year-old was activated off of the IR this weekend and was the No. 1 receiver by the end of the contest after Allen Lazard (shoulder) left in the fourth quarter. Watkins did not have the most productive day, but neither did any of the Green Bay Packers wide receivers. The passing attack in Green Bay is struggling mightily, and it will be tough to trust any next week against the Buffalo Bills. Watkins will be a name to consider on the waiver wire this week if Lazard is expected to miss an extended period of time, but he will be a WR4/5 for fantasy next week in a tough matchup on the road.
