Elijah Moore Won't Play In Week 7
2 years agoNew York Jets head coach Robert Saleh said trading wide receiver Elijah Moore isn't an option, and the second-year pass-catcher will not play in Week 7 against the Denver Broncos after formally demanding a trade on Thursday. The Jets don't want the 22-year-old to take the field while being frustrated with his role on the team, so it will mean more targets for Corey Davis and rookie first-rounder Garrett Wilson against a tough defense. Moore played a season-low 58 percent of the snaps on offense in last week's win over the Green Bay Packers and didn't receive a single target. In six games, he has 16 catches on 29 targets for 203 yards and no touchdowns. In shallow fantasy leagues, Moore is probably not worth holding onto.
