2 years agoCarolina Panthers quarterback Baker Mayfield (ankle) didn't practice on Wednesday. While he was seen recently without a walking boot, his absence from practice isn't an encouraging sign regarding his availability for Week 7 against the Buccaneers. Fantasy managers should prepare for P.J. Walker to make his second consecutive start. The 27-year-old threw 60 yards of 10-for-16 passing while rushing for negative yardage off his lone attempt before exiting due to injury. With that said, no one should consider Walker a suitable replacement for Mayfield, although neither of them belongs on fantasy rosters at this point.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
