Dak Prescott Remains On Track To Practice Wednesday
2 years agoDallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott (thumb) has been out since the season-opener with a thumb injury. The team made a statement last week that this Sunday's game against the Lions will be his anticipated return to action. Earlier this week, head coach Mike McCarthy told reporters the 29-year-old would participate in practice on Wednesday, which remains the plan based on the most recent report. The Cowboys managed a 4-1 record with Cooper Rush at the helm, putting them in a great position to compete for a wild-card spot. Prescott's return would be an upgrade for the entire offense, especially wide receivers CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup. He would also slot back in as a top-12 option himself.
