Mitch Trubisky Expected To Start In Week 7
2 years agoPittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mitch Trubisky is expected to start in Week 7 against the Miami Dolphins with rookie first-rounder Kenny Pickett in the concussion protocol. With the new NFL concussion protocols, it basically takes a week for a player to clear the protocol now, and it doesn't include a lot of practice. Steelers.com's Dale Lolley wouldn't be surprised if Mason Rudolph is the backup to Trubisky next Sunday night. Trubisky went 9-for-12 for 144 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in relief of the injured Pickett. Fantasy managers that have been using Pickett in two-QB superflex leagues of late will need to look elsewhere in Week 7. Trubisky, meanwhile, will be a low-end QB2 streamer if he's back in a starting role.
