2 years agoAtlanta Braves manager Brian Snitker said that the team would probably lean towards starting left-hander Max Fried in a potential Game 5 of the National League Division Series against the Philadelphia Phillies. Snitker said the trainers told him that Fried has turned the corner physically since his last start in the Game 1 loss, in which he got beat up to the tune of six runs (four earned) on eight hits while walking one and striking out two in just 3 1/3 frames. Fried left his final start of the regular season with an illness, so perhaps he still wasn't 100 percent on Tuesday. In any event, the Braves feel comfortable going back to their ace if they force a deciding Game 5 back in Atlanta on Sunday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
