2 years agoDallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott (thumb) has missed the past four games due to a thumb injury and will have a chance to suit up for the team's Week 6 matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles. Head coach Mike McCarthy has stated that he is preparing for Cooper Rush to start on Sunday night, so Prescott will likely return to action at home in Week 7 against the Detroit Lions. Although Prescott has been ramping up his activity in practice, it makes sense that the Cowboys would opt to play it safe this week as they are currently 4-0 with Rush under center this season.
