Will Brennan Takes A Seat Against Lefty Friday
2 years agoCleveland Guardians rookie outfielder Will Brennan is not in the starting lineup for Game 2 of the American League Division Series on Friday against New York Yankees left-hander Nestor Cortes. In his two postseason games so far this year, Brennan has gone 1-for-8 with four strikeouts. He'll give way to fellow rookie Oscar Gonzalez in right field for Game 2 of the series against New York. Infielder Owen Miller is also entering the lineup as the designated hitter and is batting sixth against Cortes. Miller hit just .212 (29-for-137) with three of his six home runs, 15 RBI, 14 runs scored and a stolen base off left-handers during the regular season in 71 games played.
