No Structural Damage For Ronald Acuna Jr.
2 years agoAtlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. (elbow) doesn't have any structural damage to his right elbow after he was hit by a pitch in the Game 2 win over the Philadelphia Phillies in the National League Division Series on Wednesday. Acuna was in some pain but managed to stay in the game and went 1-for-3 with a run scored and a strikeout in the 3-0 shutout victory. With a day off on Thursday to rest up, Acuna should be back in right field and in the leadoff spot for Game 3 of the series on Friday against Philadelphia. The 24-year-old superstar outfielder is now 4-for-7 with a double, two walks and two runs scored in the first two games of the series, which is knotted at 1-1 heading to Philadelphia for the weekend.
