Dak Prescott To Throw On Wednesday
2 years agoDallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said the team will have a better idea on quarterback Dak Prescott's (thumb) status when he starts throwing in practice on Wednesday. Prescott has been making good progress from a fractured right thumb suffered in the season opener, but he was unable to grip a football properly last week. There's a chance that he could return in Week 6 to face the 5-0 Philadelphia Eagles, but it will depend on how he looks in practice this week. And with Cooper Rush going 4-0 in Prescott's absence, the Cowboys are unlikely to throw Prescott in there unless he's 100 percent. Continue to keep an eye on Prescott's progress this week at practice. He'll be more of a low-end QB1 option for fantasy managers if he makes his return this weekend.
