2 years agoNew England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones (ankle) isn't expected to suit up on Sunday against the Detroit Lions, marking his second-straight absence. Backup Brian Hoyer (concussion) won't play, either. Instead, Bailey Zappe is in line to make his first official NFL start. The 23-year-old came in for relief after Hoyer went down in Week 4 versus Green Bay and finished the day with 99 yards and a touchdown off 10-for-15 passing. That said, Zappe has no business being in any fantasy lineup, so managers shouldn't look his way unless absolutely necessary.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
