Logan Thomas Could See Larger Role In Week 5
2 years agoWashington Commanders tight end Logan Thomas could be seeing more work than usual in Week 5. The ninth-year veteran has been working himself back to pre-injury form after recovering from ACL surgery in the offseason. In this upcoming matchup against the Tennessee Titans, managers might be able to see how far he's truly come. Commanders receivers, Curtis Samuel and Jahan Dotson, are questionable for this matchup. If they are to miss this game, that would push Thomas into a more heavily involved role as a top pass catcher. This Washington offense is facing a Titans defense that has allowed the second-most average fantasy points per game to tight ends so far this season. With a higher share of the targets and a matchup like that, the 31-year-old could be in for a strong fantasy performance. Start Thomas as a solid streaming tight end in Week 5.
