2 years agoSeattle Mariners manager Scott Servais said that outfielder Jesse Winker (neck) was scratched from the lineup on Monday against the Detroit Tigers with a neck issue. Winker came in before the game on Monday and said he wouldn't be able to play. It remains to be seen if he'll be able to return to the starting lineup on Tuesday for the team's doubleheader, but the Mariners probably won't push him so that they can have him ready to go for the start of the postseason this weekend in the wild-card series. Sam Haggerty (groin) suffered a potentially serious injury on Monday night as well, so Dylan Moore and Jarred Kelenic could see more playing time for the team's final three regular season games this week.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
