Julio Rodriguez Doesn't Miss A Beat In First Game Back
2 years agoIn his first game back from the injured list on Monday against the Detroit Tigers, Seattle Mariners rookie outfielder Julio Rodriguez went 3-for-4 with a double, an RBI, a run scored and a strikeout in the 4-3 loss. He was eased back into the lineup as the designated hitter, but he was back atop Seattle's lineup and looked perfectly fine. It's great news for the M's as they conclude the regular season and get ready for their wild-card series this weekend to kick off the postseason. The 21-year-old Dominican outfielder has lived up to all of the hype in his first MLB season, and he's now slashing .284/.345/.506 with an .851 OPS, 27 home runs, 74 RBI, 82 runs scored and 25 stolen bases in 504 at-bats.
