2 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson caught one of his three targets, gaining eight yards, and recorded one carry for 15 yards and a touchdown during the team's 27-24 overtime victory over the New England Patriots. The first-round rookie was fifth on the team in total targets Sunday as he worked his way back from a hamstring injury that made him miss Week 3. The receiving stat line was nothing to write home about, but Watson should see his snap percentage and target share increase as he works his way back to 100%. With a matchup against the New York Giants in London scheduled next week, Watson is better left on the bench.
