Dak Prescott Still Not Throwing
2 years agoDallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy said that quarterback Dak Prescott (thumb) is still dealing with some swelling, and throwing a football isn't in his plans on Friday. McCarthy isn't sure when Prescott will resume throwing a football. Prescott will miss his third straight game in Week 4 against the Washington Commanders, but he's eyeing a possible return in Week 6, barring any setbacks with his surgically repaired right thumb. We'll continue to monitor the 29-year-old signal-caller's progress, and fantasy managers should keep him stashed in all formats. Until he returns, Cooper Rush, who is 2-0 so far as the replacement, will continue to lead Dallas' offense.
