2 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Travis Homer (ribs) was placed on injured reserve. The fourth-year back suffered the rib injury last week in Seattle's 27-23 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. He hasn't played much of a role in the backfield, scoring only 7.1 half-point PPR fantasy points this season. However, the loss of Homer opens up more snaps and opportunities for Rashaad Penny and Kenneth Walker III. Over the first two weeks of the year, Homer played 39.4% of the snaps. With him out for at least the next four games, Penny and Walker should earn most of those snaps.--Mike Fanelli
