D'Andre Swift Could Miss Time With Shoulder Sprain
2 years agoDetroit Lions running back D'Andre Swift (shoulder) suffered a shoulder sprain in the Week 3 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, according to a source. The injury isn't expected to require surgery, but Swift could still miss some time as a result. Swift played a season-low 41 percent of the offensive snaps on Sunday and carried the ball seven times for 31 yards while catching three of four targets for 15 yards. Meanwhile, Jamaal Williams stole the show with a season-high 20 carries for 87 yards and two touchdowns, adding two receptions for 20 yards. It remains to be seen if Swift will be available in Week 4 against the Seattle Seahawks, but if he isn't, Williams will be a must-start in fantasy in a Lions offense that has been surprisingly potent through three weeks. Williams is currently rostered in 61 percent of Yahoo leagues.
