Curtis Samuel Poised To See Plenty Of Targets
2 years agoWashington Commanders wide receiver Curtis Samuel is in line to continue his productive stretch of performances. Through two weeks, the 26-year-old leads the Commanders in targets, receptions, and is tied for the team lead in receiving yards. Samuel is being utilized in a fashion that creates quick opportunities where he can accumulate yards after the catch. This usage is what makes him such an attractive fantasy asset as he's able to collect numerous receptions while utilizing his solid athleticism. The Commanders are facing a red-hot Philadelphia Eagles team this week that boasts two star cornerbacks in Darius Slay and James Bradberry. With those two covering the two downfield threats in Terry McLaurin and Jahan Dotson, Samuel should have another strong performance. Start him as a solid WR2 in Week 3.
