2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Kenneth Gainwell will go on the road to face the Washington Commanders this Sunday. After finding the end zone in Week 1 against Detroit, the Memphis alum barely touched the ball in Week 2. The Eagles gave Miles Sanders 17 of the 23 running back carries last week against Minnesota. While Gainwell has a role on passing downs, Sanders and Boston Scott are rotated into the offense enough to leave the second-year back's fantasy scoring ceiling low. Even though this is the type of matchup you would look for to play a pass-catching back like Gainwell, he is better left on the bench until we see his average touch-count rise. At best, the 23-year-old is a desperation flex option in 14 to 16-team and dynasty leagues.--Ryan Larrison - RotoBaller
