Commanders Signing Nick Martin
2 years agoThe Washington Commanders are signing veteran center Nick Martin to an undisclosed deal on Tuesday and adding him to the 53-man roster, according to a source. The former Houston Texan and Las Vegas Raider will add plenty of experience with 62 career starts under his belt. In a corresponding move, the Commanders placed center Chase Roullier (knee) on Injured Reserve. Martin, 29, was originally a second-round pick by the Texans in 2016 out of Notre Dame. He spent his first four NFL seasons with the Texans before joining the Raiders last year, where he played 17 regular season games (zero starts).
