Dalton Schultz Expected To Avoid Long-Term Absence
2 years agoDallas Cowboys tight end Dalton Schultz's (knee) MRI exam revealed some positive news, as the damage to his right knee could have been more substantial after he was injured in the Week 2 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. He's expected to avoid a significant absence, according to a person close to the situation. However, the 26-year-old should be considered very questionable for a Week 3 meeting with the New York Giants, and with the game coming on Monday Night Football, fantasy managers should be looking to go in another direction. Schultz had two catches on four targets for just 18 yards and lost a fumble on Sunday. If Schultz ends up missing any time, rookies Jake Ferguson and Peyton Hendershot would see added playing time.
