Robert Tonyan Quiet During Victory Over Chicago
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers tight end Robert Tonyan caught both his targets and gained 11 yards during the team's 27-10 victory over the Chicago Bears Sunday. It was a quiet night for the 28-year-old, but the Packers were dominant on the ground, leading to the team throwing just seven times in the second half. After seeing five targets last week, Tonyan looked to be the fourth option for quarterback Aaron Rodgers behind Sammy Watkins, Allen Lazard, and whichever running back was on the field between Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon. With the ball being heavily spread around the offense, Tonyan looks like a touchdown-dependent streaming option moving forward. The matchup against Tampa Bay next week is not terrible for the fifth-year tight end, but they have only allowed 13 total points through the first two games of the season. He will again be a risky streaming option for fantasy managers in Week 3.
