Courtland Sutton Has 100-Plus Yards In Week 2 Win
2 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton carried the team's offense on Sunday in the 16-9 win over the Houston Texans. He barely missed a touchdown reception in the first quarter, but his foot was out of bounds. With Jerry Jeudy (shoulder) getting injured in the first half and never returning, Sutton led the team by a wide margin with his 11 targets, catching seven of them for a team-high 122 yards. It was nice to see the 26-year-old peppered with targets by quarterback Russell Wilson, but that should change whenever Jeudy returns. If Jeudy is unable to play in Week 3 against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night, Sutton will have WR1 upside as Wilson's go-to target.
