Anthony Schwartz Won't Be Cut
2 years agoCleveland Browns wide receiver Anthony Schwartz won't be cut, according to head coach Kevin Stefanski. Schwartz has had issues with drops throughout the preseason, with three occurring during Saturday's exhibition versus the Chicago Bears. However, despite his poor showings, Stefanski expressed his confidence in the second-year wideout. The 2021 third-round pick finished a miserable rookie campaign by catching only 10 of his 23 targets for 135 yards and a touchdown. With that said, Schwartz has a chance to move up the depth chart this season. Yet, unless the 21-year-old demonstrates he can be a consistent target for Jacoby Brissett and eventually Deshaun Watson (suspension), he won't be worth much to fantasy managers.
