Romeo Doubs Backs Up Hype On The Field
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers rookie wide receiver Romeo Doubs caught three passes for 45 yards and a touchdown in Friday's preseason loss to the San Francisco 49ers. He has received a lot of buzz during training camp, which is starting to seem warranted. Doubs made an immediate impact in Friday's preseason opener catching a 33-yard touchdown on the team's second drive, thanks to a beautiful route that left him wide open. He tied Danny Davis for the team lead in receiving yards. The 22-year-old has a real opportunity to climb the depth chart and become a starter in Week 1. It's difficult to determine how the target distribution will shake out for this offense but if he does cement a role to start the year, he could become a volatile, high-upside receiver for fantasy football.
