Luis Severino To Be Shut Down For Two Weeks
2 years agoNew York Yankees right-hander Luis Severino (lat) will be shut down from throwing for two weeks, according to Yankees manager Aaron Boone. While we still don't have a clear timeline for Severino, we now at least know that he'll require more than the minimum amount of time on the 15-day injured list. Severino is dealing with a low-grade right lat strain. The 28-year-old has been a dependable starter for the Yankees this year, going 5-3 with a 3.45 ERA and a 1.07 WHIP across 16 starts.
