Jonah Heim Battling Non-COVID Illness
2 years agoTexas Rangers catcher Jonah Heim (illness) was unavailable for Tuesday's game against the Oakland Athletics. He is dealing with a non-COVID illness, according to Rangers reporter Jeff Wilson. Sam Huff wound up getting the start behind the plate for Tuesday's contest. Heim has been swinging a hot bat so far in July. Over 10 games this month, he's slashed .364/.382/.545 with a pair of home runs. The 27-year-old owns a .266/.318/.477 slash line to go along with 12 homers, 31 RBI and 32 runs over 65 games on the year.
