Andrew Heaney Set For A Rehab Assignment
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Andrew Heaney (shoulder) is ready for a rehab assignment, according to Dodgers manager Dave Roberts. The expectation is that he will begin his rehab assignment by pitching at Single-A Rancho Cucamonga on Saturday. Heaney has been dealing with right shoulder issues since April and he's made just three starts this year. Over those three starts, he's pitched 15.1 innings and given up nine hits, four walks and one earned run while striking out 23 batters. If you need pitching help and he's on the waiver wire, you could do a lot worse than stashing him in an IL spot.
