Francisco Lindor Singles Twice, Draws Two Walks
2 years agoNew York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor reached base in each of his four plate appearances during Saturday's game against the Texas Rangers. He went 2-for-2 with a pair of singles and a pair of walks. The 28-year-old struggled to the tune of a .202/.255/.362 slash line in June, but he's off to a good start to July as he's gone 3-for-5 with three walks over his first two games of the month. Overall, it's been another disappointing fantasy campaign thus far for Lindor. Over 77 games, he's slashed .247/.328/.420 with 12 home runs, nine stolen bases, 56 RBI and 46 runs. His average exit velocity (89.1 mph) and hard-hit rate (40%) are both the lowest they've been since 2017.
