2 years agoOakland Athletics relief pitcher Dany Jimenez was unable to hold the lead during Friday's game against the Cleveland Guardians. It's a shame because Paul Blackburn went eight shutout innings before handing the ball over to Jimenez. Sadly, Jimenez allowed three runs and took the loss during Friday's contest. He has allowed 12 runs over his last five appearances. It seems like it's time for the A's to try someone else in the closer role. Both Sam Moll and A.J. Puk could be getting looks in the ninth inning here soon.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
