Cameron Batson Signs With Falcons
2 years agoFormer Tennessee Titans wide receiver Cameron Batson (knee), who tore his ACL last fall and has been cleared just seven months after having surgery, signed an undisclosed deal with the Atlanta Falcons on Wednesday, according to a source. Batson played in just four games for the Titans last year, bringing in two of his five targets for 15 yards and a touchdown. In his three seasons with Tennessee, the 26-year-old had 22 receptions for 197 yards and two touchdowns on 29 targets over 27 games (three starts). In Atlanta, he'll present more mediocre receiving depth behind Bryan Edwards and rookie first-rounder Drake London. Batson will be competing for a role alongside the likes of Olamide Zaccheaus, KhaDarel Hodge, Auden Tate and Damiere Byrd, among others.
