Teams Believe Kyrie Irving Could Be Sign-And-Trade Candidate
3 years agoBrooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving could turn down a $36.5 million player option to become an unrestricted free agent this summer. Yet, if that happens, teams throughout the league believe a sign-and-trade scenario could become a possibility. Irving averaged 27.4 points, 5.8 assists, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.4 steals this season. However, his unwillingness to receive the COVID-19 vaccine kept him off the floor for most of the year. Nonetheless, there will surely be more to come involving this situation. While Irving has proven to be one of the best players in the league, his inability to remain on the court over the years significantly reduces his fantasy outlook moving ahead.
