3 years agoArizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Zac Gallen earned his third victory of the season on Thursday as his club was able to defeat the Cubs 3-1. The right-hander allowed one run on two hits and three walks over five innings of work while striking out four in the 88-pitch outing. It wasn't his most efficient game of the season, but effective nonetheless as he now owns a sharp 1.14 ERA and 0.71 WHIP with 39 K in 39 1/3 IP. Fantasy managers should be nothing short of ecstatic this season after Gallen struggled with his numbers and with his health in 2021.
