3 years agoThe New York Mets placed starting pitcher Tylor Megill (lat) on the 15-day injured list with right lat inflammation on Sunday. Right-handed pitcher Colin Holderman was called up from Triple-A to fill Megill's roster spot. Megill is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Sunday. The results of the MRI will help indicate how long he is expected to be out for. The 26-year-old was off to a nice start to the year before being shelled by the Washington Nationals this past Wednesday. Over seven starts, he's gone 4-2 with a 4.41 ERA and a 1.13 WHIP. Megill was scheduled to make his next start on Monday against the St. Louis Cardinals. The team has yet to announce who will take the mound in his place.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
